I was wondering if anyone has viewpoints on outer shells?This seems to be one item that changes from person to person.I will probably be pairing mine with a down vest in cold weather.Im looking for something that cuts the wind and keeps me fairly dry inside and out.Good ventalation and a soft liner are all pluses.And if this isnt enough,I would like to stay under 20 oz.I have been loking at a Mt.hardware Tempest or a cloudveil prospector.What do you use and what do you see as pros and cons?
