Hey everyone.
I’m right now In superior after road walking to the Gila, and hiking the trail from there (one of my favorite sections of the trail up to now, even though I left a fair amount of skin on the brushy parts of that trail).
Headed later north. Hoping to meet John again (his right now in Phoenix).

Not many people come in here.But, it is a good place to resupply.Relatively large IGA. If you don’t need healthy food–lots of choices in the “rice sides and pasta sides” department.Easy hitch from the hwy.Loved the last part of the trail–easy miles and beautiful scenery. I even had a perfect tree at lunch time. Saw my first snakes since the border. One big red one --I scared it—It scared me. One rattler–very loud and irritated at me,late in the day under a bush.I’m still in a hiker void and will probably be in one until I reach the border.
