Supporting Trail Journals

Like many others, I have felt the sting of not having trailjournals.com in my life these last 5 days as the site changed servers.

Trail Journals has kept me connected to the trail community since my 2003 hike and is integral in my job as transcriber for Bluebird this year. “Following along” with a hiker’s daily journal gives others a chance to experience the ups and downs of life on the trail.

Leif and Zip give so much of their time and energy to this website that we all consider an important part of our lives. Thanks guys for all you do for the hiking community. I’ll be stopping by your booth at Trail Journals to make my donation to the cause. I hope everyone that enjoys the fruits of your labors does the same~J.

Thanks for the reminderI was told in addition to a check these guys like their barley pop, so I included a 10 spot for them. Last year I had family and occupational obligations and my planned “Thorofare Trail” didn’t come together. Kindly they kept my journal up, and this year I will make good on it. We all owe this guys a great deal of thanks, mine will just have to wait until June though. I’m going to make my 2005 journal a 2006 one if possible. Thanks guys,

John

Leif and Zip,

Will you start accepting PayPal donations in the future? What about bumper stickers?

I wear my TJ shirts all the time. You don’t get those for free ya know. Give it up for the boyz. PayPal might be a good idea. Easier than a check. And we all know if you give them cash at Trail Days they’ll just blow it on beer. :cheers
