Tarptent- Sewn-In Floor or Groundcover?

from tarptent’s web site:

"The primary benefit of the sewn-in flooring is that it offers full insect protection. Sewn-in flooring is also the lightest solution for a Tarptent with ground protection. The sewn-in flooring is remarkably tough and does not usually require a separate groundsheet. We recommend a light–2 mil plastic is fine; Tyvek is overkill–floor protector for use on very rocky ground and desert conditions where puncture wounds are possible.

The primary benefit of the floorless version with separate groundsheet is that it offers maximum flexibility–no separate groundsheet needed for sleeping out and more pitch options. Other advantages include faster drying times, smaller packed size, no worries about sewn-in floor protection, and easy flooring washing/replacement."

I thought I read that the sewn-in floor is actually able to be zipped to the tent (which would make it the best option). Can anyone clear this up for me?
