I wanted to take this time to thank those reponsible for this site. Maybe I read somewhere that they are former AT thru hikers. Like a few, I’m a refugee from the trailplace.com site. Even though I’m just a section hiker…when you take 2-3 week jaunts like I sometimes do (and want to do) you find that the info that thru hikers and others give you is invaluable. Trailplace was a site that did that for me, but alas it is now defunct. Maybe I’ll bump into some of my friends from trailplace.com. Thanks again. Doc

Many thanks for this site. I too am a refugee from Trailplace and think you guys are filling a very worthwile need by continuing to develop and maintain this fantastic site.
