What section would you say you like most along the CT and why. Like to hear some opinions. my vote would be for the Weminuche in the San Juans. The wildflowers and rugged alpine scenery was superb although the San Juans further west were also spectacular… So was La Garita.

From the divide down to elk park was my absolute favorite. yet from san luis saddle until section 25 was all off the charts good

I agree, La Garita was excellent. I don’t think I’ll be able to do an extended hike for a few years, but want to return to CO for climbing and hiking next summer and La Garita and Weminuche are at the top of my list! Here’s another poll question to add to the forum: Which section was the most confusing to follow. My vote would have to go to 22-23.

I got lost early on for about 1hr lol It was between tennesee pass and mt massive where the book said watch out for a faint trail to a lake. I not only stepped over some limbs lol but also missed a ct sign not 10’ away. I realised I screwed up after hopping from boulder to boulder along the lake. I said to my self boy the trail sure got nasty quick :))) Then I nearly made another mistake well actually I decide to bushwack to the trail I knew I was east of it so for another half hour I tried to get back via yet more boulder hopping. After a while I yelled at myself for being stupid and backtracked. Where I noticed my mistake and had a big laugh and a groan
