ThruHiker Parking

I’ve had several requests from people driving to Denver to start their CT thruhikes concerning long-term parking. I need help from the group here - I used to have a parking “source”, but not now. Outside of one of the cheap, long-term DIA options, I don’t have any good recommendations. But, parking at DIA does give you access to the bus/light rail. FWIW

Parking for several weeks is harder now that Waterton Canyon and its Trailhead Parking are closed. Many consider Indian Creek Trailhead and the Segment 1-2 division at the South Platte River too remote for secure, long term parking. If you’re starting at Indian Creek TH, parking in Sedalia might be convenient for you. Maybe phone Sedalia RV Storage (303) 688-3842, owner Jim Sikora, and get a price quote etc. There are many other RV storage places where you might also inquire but some won’t take cars.
