I wanted to know what others thought on this topic I know the AT mileage is about 2174 miles between Springer and the big K, but how many miles do you think the average thru hiker walks in order to get there. My question is how many miles do you think a thru hiker walks between starting and finishing the trail. Is it around 2400 or do you think it is less?
