We are looking to do some trail magic in Idyllwild around the 26th does anyone know when the PCT hikers will be coming threw there?

Take a look at this data. It shows that the average miles/day is about 15 up to mile 400. My guess would be about May 12th-14th in Idyllwild.

Because of the dry winter, there are many hikers starting earlier this year. I would think plenty would be up to Idyllwild by the 26th. There are several who have already passed through there.
Keep in mind that the Kickoff weekend is the 27th-28th, so there may be several hikers in town looking for a ride to the party, but a few less actually en route.

Most ultralighters who start around kickoff and have a 20-30mile pace will get there in 9-10days. Im starting on the 4/27 and plan on getting there by 5/5. For me, Idyllwild will be my first real stop where i open my bounce box, take a shower, and probably my first zero day. Hanging out at the devils slide trailhead should yield plenty of hikers who could use some help.
