I will be doing a section hike in 9 days. The Appalachian Trail Conservancy Trail Updates indicate several bridge washouts as of 9/3. Are the smaller creeks swollen and unfordable? Should I possibly consider another section of the Trail? Any information from someone having done this section recently is appreciated.
