Hey, Ive been reading alot of trail journals and it seems like there’s a bit of snow on the trail. Does anyone know what conditions are like near Springer?

No snow here, just cool and windy. Heard there was over a foot of snow in the smokies a few days ago, but they’re a bit higher up. Here, there’s a slight chance of rain over the next few days I think, but the last few days have been precipitation free. Have fun!

My NoBo friend Andy Borghese hiked through snow in the Standing Indian Area a few days ago and I saw a picture of Roan from April 3rd with lots of snow:
