The Pacific Northwest Trail is definitely the ticket here. http://www.pnt.org has a good forum to post to. You can glance at Andrew Skurka’s website to see what the trail is like through there. Andrew linked the PCT and CDT together last year on this ‘great western loop’. He also has said that the PNT was his favorite part of his Sea-to-Sea route from a few years ago.

Thanks bbbbbeat just what I needed. Plan to visit daughter in Ashland, Or. then PCT to PNT to CDT to Rogers Pass then home to Great Falls, Mt. Again Thanks
