Trail Days In Damascus VA (Mat 17-19)

									Hi everyone!

Here’s my question, my boyfriend is currently out hiking the AT and he wants me to come visit him in Damascus VA for Trail Day’s next month, however I’m still a little stuck on how to get there.

I want to take AMTRAK from Philadelphia to Danville, VA because it’s less money and time than taking a bus to Marion. (Plus Danville is three hours away from there as apposed to the other towns).

So here’s my question - If I were to go to Danville does someone know an easy way to get to Damascus for the event the next day? Or does someone else have another city they can suggest me to go that’s closer and can get to by AMTRAK?

									You do realize Marion, VA is only about 30 minutes from Damascus?  Not sure if Lynchburg, VA is any closer than Danville, but I was thinking Amtrak had a connection there.  Send me an e-mail if you go the Marion route (I live 15 minutes from Marion) -- I do plan on attending Trail Days.  Godspeed!  Shady
