Trail days was a little to intense at the camp ground. Not to be critical, but IMHO it was a little to “crazy” with the hardcore drinking.
Having said that I did imbibe and payed the price, I also had a great time. I want to go back,

Whatever they are I’m sure it won’t stop hikers, hobos, vagrants, and other good folk from attending.

If you want to go and avoid the camp grounds stay at The Place. There is usually room to put up your tent in the yard.
Go to the camp ground and when you had enough go back to The Place to sleep.
