Goin up early on friday from Johnson City, can pick up on Fiday Morning from Uncle Johnny's, Watauga Dam Road, and Highway 91. I Can pick up on Thursday at Sams Gap, Uncle Johnny's, Indian Grave Gap, Iron MTN Gap, Mtn Harbour Hostel, 321, and Watauga Dam RD. Woo Hoo Yay Hikers!!

I broke my leg on Blood Mountain on the morning of April 2nd (walked down thinking it was a bad sprain). I am returning to the trail at Damascus during Trail Daze. My plan is to hike to Katahdin, flip-flop back to Damascus and hike south over the portion I missed.
Can anyone give me a ride from Bristol, TN to Damascus (about 30 miles)? I’m taking a greyhound to Bristol on Thursday, and was hoping to get a ride to Damascus Thursday night or first thing Friday morning.
If not, can anyone recommend a shuttle service in the area?

Jim sorry to hear about the broken leg. Uncle Johnny did have a shuttle service. Not sure if they still do. Check the ATC website they have a list of shuttle drivers in the area.
