…anyone ever hiked this (tragically) historical trail?..i understand there are basically 3 routes from which to choose…just wondering where to obtain the best information for planning a thru-hike for the TOT…
also the lewis and clark expedition route is of particular interest to me…

_maw-ee_Maw-ee, I recommend that you read the book “WALKING THE TRAIL” by Jerry Ellis. After reading it, I seriously thought about doing the hike, also. However, it will have to be put on the “back-burner” until I hike other planned trails.
