I just found out yesterday that the paved road from horseshoe/cottonwood pass onto lone pine is still closed with snow and MAY not be open for a few weeks yet!!!Some folks have reached K/Ms and already bailed to canada, who i do not know…Not a lot of boxes showing up at k/ms either…and those are for folks coming in late june,

If I can get to Horseshow Memorial Day weekend, I plan to hike to the Trail Pass / PCT intersection then head south, just to have a look. I’ll post a desctription next Tuesday.
