I definately will post a journal, thank you for the beta on the routes. I have not fully made up my mind wether i am going to undertake the CDT this year or next year. I was thinking of taking down a section of the PCT this year and doing a little bit more research on the CDT before that undertaking. The PCT is more familiar to me. I will 100% take on the CDT as soon as possible though.
So if i want no snow and crystaline views through Glacier the best time to go is after August? I might have to push back the timing of my trip as well. Leave in August and hopefully get through the Tetons before first snowfall. Cutting it close though.
