Hey guys!
i started planning my JMT trip a bit late… i want to start at august 22ed, and obviously reservations for permits to “Happy Isles->Little Yosemite Valley” trailhead and “Happy Isles->Sunrise/Merced Lake (pass through)” trailhead are no longer available…
can i begin my JMT hike with a permit to “Happy Isles->Illilouette”? does it matter where i go once i got my permit at all?
and generally, do you recommend any trailheads other than happy isles and Lyell canyon?
will appreciate a lot any help you can give!
