george the ox, I have no idea about local bus lines, but go to Greyhound Bus Lines and you can find bus stops in Pennsylvania. There is a bus stop in Lehighton, Jim Thorpe and Allentown. There is also a Greyhound bus stop in Harrisburg about 15 miles south of Duncannon. Hope this helps. I hope to make it out to that section in about a month.

The station you want is Stroudsburg, PA. It is located on rt. 611 at the edge of DWG. It is a ten minute walk at best from DWG town center. For about $30 you can get a ticket to Harrisburg. It is a 4-6 hour ride via Scranton.

There is CAT bus service in Harrisburg and they recently added route #23 with service to Halifax. It stops at a park & ride at the Clarks Ferry Bridge once a day. So you’ll need to leave DWG @ 8:05am to arrive Harrisburg @ 2:15pm. Pick up CAT about 4pm to arrive Clarks Ferry @ 4:55pm. Clarks Ferry Bridge is the east side of the river. Duncannon is on the west. You should verify this information with Greyhound @ 1-800-231-2222 and CAT @ 717-238-8304.

Whatever you do at all costs, stay out of Stroudsburg, PA. They’re allowed to arrest you in cargo shorts!
