Father/son/golden planning to hit segment 25 @ Molas Pass and end in Durango. What transportation options if any to park in Durango and shuttle to Molas Pass? Thanks. I know the train is out because of the dog.

You can park at the DRO airport for about $6/day and then take a taxi ($20.00) or hotel shuttle (free) into town from there. If not for the dog, hitching from Durango to Molas Pass would be a breeze. Still doable with the pooch, just more difficult.
If no one comes up with a better plan, I’d suggest posting again as your near your departure date. I suspect someone in the area (myself included) would be happy to shuttle you for gas money, if available.
