Travel time-ATL to Springer?

I need a good estimate of how long it will take to drive from the South side of ATL(near the airport), to Springer on a Thurs morning? I’m a little concerned about getting caught in rush-hour traffic. --How early would I have to leave to avoid rush-hour traffic?
–Also, how much time if I detoured by Amicalola SP first, before heading to Springer?

Gonna head up that way to do a little hiking, and be support for some thru-hikers.

i picked radar up from the atl airport and it took us an hour & 45 to get to the falls. keep $.50 handy for the 400 toll. amicalola is only about 4miles out of the way and it takes 45mins to get to USFS42 from there. have fun meeting all the new thrus!

It usually takes me 2 1/2 hours. But its taken as long as 3 hours if its raining. The worst of rush hour is from about 7:30 - 9:30.
