Do you mean a yo-yo, (connected back to back) or just both directions in different years? All 3 trails have been yo-yoed, but not by the same person. As far as I know!

I think the poster was asking whether anyone has hiked the trails in both directions, i.e. AT, PCT and CDT as NOBOs and SOBOs.
I can’t think of anyone who has done this. There are few people who have hiked the PCT sobo. Though it is certainly possible.

Namie Bacile aka 'Let it Be' told me (way back in '97) that he had hiked all three trails three times - a triple TC - and in both directions...

Scott Williamson has yo-yo'd the PCT I think three times now. Francis Tapon and Onion yo-yo'd The CDT (see Backpacker archives for article). But this is the first time I have seen someone who has done all three trails. Quite an accomplishment.

Robo - I didn't mean to imply that Namie Yo-Yo'd the trails.
When I met him on the PCT in '97 he mentioned that he had hiked the TC three times & that he had hiked all three trails both NOBO & SOBO on separate years. Sorry for the confusion…
