Truck storage - Pacific Crest Trail

Hey guys. I’m from NC and am taking a road trip to San Diego. I’m going to explore some national parks with a couple of friends before starting our PCT thru-hike. Does anyone know or have info on a trail angel that would allow me to store my truck in a safe place in the area preferably for free or cheap? I plan on starting the trail at the kickoff on April 26th and spending the average 5 months to complete it. Leaving my truck in NC and taking a bus or plane isn’t ideal for me since I want to stay out west after the trip. Any trail magic/ideas would be greatly appreciated. You could also email me at at_drifter@yahoo.com. Be well.

Sorry, don’t have any tips on where to store your truck, but I have one piece of advice - throw some STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer in the gas tank before you head out on the PCT. It will preserve the gas in the tank & prevent varnish deposits, etc. which can clog fuel filters. (I learned this one the hard way after one of my hikes)

Happy Trails!
