Tuolumne Meadows Post Office

Hi All,

I am planning an August 2007 southbound JMT thru hike and am currently planning my resupply points. Does anyone know what days and hours the Tuolumne Meadows Post Office is typically open?

I looked on the USPS web site and found the following hours listed for the post office at Tuolomne Meadows:

M-F: 9-5
Sat: 9-12

It is located in the canvas building in front of the campground, with a pick up window outside.

The store next door is open from 8-8 and has a wide variety of Mountain House dinners along with granola bars, energy bars, beef jerky, trail mix, etc. If you aren’t too restrictive on meal planning you can easily resupply from the store.

There’s also a little cafe/grill next to the store. Its open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner.
