you guys have to stop at twin lakes. i just got off the trail (made it to buena vista and went home. thinking about doing the rest starting this friday). the lodge does not serve hikers anymore, but there is a place called windspirit there. that place rocks. i got there at 5pm and they were closed at 4pm. i told them i was a hiker and they let me in. the food was unbelievable! i definately recommend the funky chicken! and if you can’t decide on what kind of pie for dessert, do what i did - order one of each! you have to check this place out! it’s only a mile off the trail down the highway - and the views are amazing! just make sure you get there early because they close at 4pm.
