Question for Tyvek users:
Does a tyvek groundcloth keep you dry in soggy weather?
Can you trust it to keep a down bag dry on those times it rains all night?
I’ve always used groundcloths made of urethane coated nylon material or black plastic, but would like to try tyvek for a change.
As an experiment, I filled up a tyvek envelope with some water and within 5 minutes it was saturated and leaking through the material pretty good…seems to be pourous. thanks
