Both individuals are adults, why assist them in being children.

If you knew anything, repeat anything, about this situation you’d know that there is a victim and an aggressor, not your fanciful “alternative.” If you knew anything about human behavior at all, you’d refrain from projecting your own inadequacies on a woman you do not know who is being victimized in a manner you know nothing about by a man with motivations beyond your ability to comprehend. Your condescending remarks directed at her disqualify you from being a serious contributor these threads, but no doubt you’ll inflict upon us another poorly pecked out and pointless post. Anyway, U. Johnny did not answer my phone call…yet…I wonder if he has caller i.d. I have proof that he received my package. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do if I can’t get my package back from him? Who I should report to? Can I report it to UPS? I heard this has happened to other people…maybe I could add myself to the list of complaints. Stealing mail is a huge offense. I hope, hope, hope, he just forgot to send it back.

Anyway, can anyone help me?

Spamming, get real and grow up, you can’t support your position so you result to falsehoods, take your internet address off your call sign if you do not wish to be addressed on personal level. I do not believe this violates Trail Journal’s parameters nor law with regard to what your over the top representation puts forth.

To answer Red’s question. I don’t think UPS would be able to help you other than to give you more proof that it wasn’t returned, refused, etc. What was the monetary value of the goods inside? If I’m not mistaken, if something is stolen that has a value of more than a $100, its considered a felony. You could always press charges, or take him to small claims court. Maybe that would force him to settle up and be done with it.

Hi Red,
Jonnie offered to send home my tent body in 01 after we decided we would just use the fly. I called him about 10 times, reached him maybe 3 times. He got the address wrong about 5 times, and it kept getting returned to him.

Keep trying him. Leave him messages. Pest the hell out of him. If the package is worth anything, you should eventually get it back. Good Luck! Oh, and make him read the address back to you!

I can’t believe this Penscal is telling the VICTIM of harrassment that she should “grow up”!!! I know Miss Janet, Uncle Johnny, and TJ all. Janet and TJ are GREAT trail people and don’t deserve grief from an outsider like Pensacl. Uncle Johnny is the worst example of trail parasite and I’m glad the ATC has unlisted him. about this whole thread thing, it’s hilarious!! And by the way, I want to thank everyone who’s given me advice. It’s heartening to know that he might actually give it back. It’s only worth 30 dollars but it’s a nice shirt…it’s capilene and I really like it.

Little RRhood, have you considered filing a small claims suit in Erwin? Cost is $92 and if you win, the court will order UJ to pay your court costs. Phone number for filing information is (423) 743-3541.

First get a confirmation printout from UPS that the package was delivered and on what date. (Just call UPS, or you may be able to print it out from their website using the tracking number.) Then follow up with a certified letter, return receipt requested, to UJ demanding he return your property or allow someone in Erwin to pick it up. Detail what happened in the letter, and make a copy before you send it. UJ is pretty hot at using the legal system to rub out Miss Janet, let’s start turning the system against HIM.

Hey LLRhood, there may be an easier alternative to a small claims suit. File a complaint with the Tenn. Division of Consumer Affairs, a division of the Tenn. Attorney General’s Office. Call (615) 741-4737 and request a complaint form from the menu options. The AG’s office will then forward your complaint to UJ and mediate a resolution. Best of all, this service is FREE.

While not necessary, it will help if you can get confirmation of delivery from UPS as outlined in my post above, and send that in with the complaint. I’d LOVE to see the look on UJ’s face when he receives a letter from the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office!
