It was really easy to get a ride to Page, AZ, from the northern terminus of the AZT. There is a trailhead not far from the AZT trailhead to the north (the Wire Pass Trailhead), where many cars are parked while day hikers set off to visit The Wave. This attraction is popular and visitors are limited. There is a reservation system. Some Germans gave me a lift. They were there to see if they had won a lottery for unreserved spots, but hadn’t so they would return the next day.
