I will be thru-hiking the PCT next year and have some friends that want to visit for about 3 days and do some day hikes. Neither one are experienced hikers but they are in pretty good shape.
I would really like to have them come meet me in a place where we can do some day hikes and they can enjoy the beauty of the Sierras. If you were to pick any place to get off the trail in the Sierras and have friends meet you to do a couple of days of day hikes what do you think the most scenic place would be?
