Hello. I recently had the pleasure to meet Weka and Kea. They are fom New Zealand and are SOBOers who just passed Daleville. They have a short time to finish and are really concerned about being able to finish due to water shortages. They don’t have the ability to just come back next year like many of us could if something didn’t work out. My plea is if you do any trail magic, could you please put out water at shelters or road crossings. Not just for these two but for all. I would hate to see them pack up and not complete. They were leaving Catawba on Saturday the 24th and avg close to 20miles a day so you could possibly keep an idea of where they are at. Sorry this is long but hopefully a water “chain” could form and hikers could be ok. I’m sure lots of people do this already but after becoming close to these two hikers, I just felt the need to post this. Thanks, Dale, aka Rocket
