Brian Sweet reported that there were 11 gallons of water on 4/18. There was also water in the 100 gallon stock tank before Ripsey Wash.

Happened to notice this spring…
The existing cache spot is under what’s now a dead mesquite tree, offering zero shade for those fragile, UV-sensitive plastic bottles. About 100 feet north along the trail, on the right side a short ways off is good sized, living mesquite with plenty of shade and a somewhat concealed location for a cache. My guess is everyone who walks this stretch now knows to be on the lookout for a cache “just north of Freeman Road,” so would be apt to locate it even if a bit hidden, everyone except for the random prankster, come to that.
