Water between Sinking Creek/VA42 and Rockfish Gap

I may get a chance to get another short section in this year in the next week or so. Can anyone who has been north of Pearisburg recently - on the trail between Sinking Creek at VA Route 42 and Rockfish Gap - report on the water supply and conditions? Are the springs dried up or what?
Also if you’ve been out in the last few days, what’s been the nightime low temperatures?

Thanks for the help - always like to get the latest conditions and I don’t expect to find many other hikers out this late in central VA.

Happy Trails,

Thanks, Frogcaller - That’s a good idea. I had forgotten that he passed through there southbound just about two weeks ago.
Hope there’s been some rain since then because he was carrying 4 liters at a time because of dry springs/streams!
