Hello,
Can anyone tell me how the water conditions (reliable water sources) are on the Georgia section of the AT or where I could get information on it. I plan to start early August.

When I hiked the AT in Georgia in late April, there was adequate water.
Like you, I was concerned about the availability of water prior to starting. I talked with the ranger at Amicolola Falls State Park. I suggest you drop a dime if you want the best up to date information.
