Flint mt. shelter,spring still running strong.
Spring mountain is dry,last I heard Humpback ridge shelter has water.
Water has been left at Iron mt,Indian grave,Sams and allen gaps.
Also spring at Deep Gap south of Unaka summit is still runnig.

Thanks for the water info. I’ll be in that area in a few weeks. I sure hope the H2O situation doesn’t get worse between now and then.
While I’m there I’d like to have some H2O available to other hikers. Anyone know where the biggest need is in either Georgia or North Carolina?

I am doing 19E to 321 at Watauga Lake this weekend. Any water reports for that area?

This may help a little SnakeDr; there is water north from 19E to the new Mountaineer Shelter, and several sources on towards the Moreland Gap Shelter … the water source at Moreland Gap was a trickle, but enough for one or two hikers. No water between Moreland Gap and Dennis Cove.
