Interesting story… someone I know once bought a bunch of very nice White Mountain trail maps made out of Tyvek. Sure, they were waterproof… but the ink didn’t stick to the maps very well either. Eventually the trails rubbed off the maps. Oh well.

I can see where that would be a problem. These guys claim it works with ordinary printer ink, but then they aren’t out there in the wilderness with you when it doesn’t.
Sounds like an experiment coming on. Must purloin Tyvek from work…
