I am planning a day hike up McAfee Knob tomorrow. Anyone know what the trail conditions are right now? I don’t want to go if the trail is caked in ice.

Stay home. The mountains are caked in ice and snow.
Now if you have some crampons and want to live dangerously, then by all means.

I would think that with all the rain and the warm day we had today here in good ole Va. It would probably be a nice hike.Might be lots of mud and water running down the trail though.
