I am crocz, and I have been hiking my whole life, but only started long distance hiking in 2014. I love the outdoors and nature and meeting kindhearted people who enjoy the same. Happy trails, everyone!

Hi Croczilla and “Welcome” to the Trailforums.
I’m with you, I started long-distance backpacking in 74’ after discovering the AT in 73’ while attending a National Boy Scout Jamboree in Pa.
I’m hoping to get some hiking in this summer, however, my 71-year-old bones and joints are telling me differently.
If my finances were in better shape, I’d enjoy helping you get to the trail. I live in Central Ohio.
Good luck with your adventure.

Hello everybody. My trail name is BreatheRite and my home base is Hampton Roads, Va. I’m new to backpacking/hiking (started May 2022). I was born in the Appalachian Mountains (West Virginia) It was my playground. I spent the first 19 years of my life there. For now, I spend most of my time hiking trails around Lake Sherando in Lyndhurst, Va. I’m a member of Tidewater Appalachian Trail Club and we maintain a section of the AT in that area.
