I’m hiking sections J & K and and then need to get out. What’s the easiest (as in gettin rides, hitching, etc.) point to get out at?

Rainy Pass is an actuall road with cars. Stehekin is at the end of a 50 mile long lake and the only way in or out is by 4 hour boat ride or sea plane. Or you could walk there from Mexico or something. You might be able to hitch out of the Hart Pass area north of Stehekin.

Go out at Rainy. Although it isn’t the heaviest traffic road, you should be able to get a lift from there. But, from Rainy it is a long way to get to a place with a Greyhound stop. I think Mount Vernon, on I-5 south of where HWY 20 junctions, is the closest (hah!).
