Anyone close to Elizbethton, TN? East of Buena Vista. He’s supposed to be at the Days Inn there but when I called they say his isn’t.

I tracked Bono down at the hostel at Mt. Rogers yesterday just before closing…they said he was at the Damascus library transcribing. I think if he wanted to talk to us right now…he would have no trouble finding a way! Anyway, he’s not off the trail yet! And with all the support he’s getting in his guestbook, he should feel coposcetic about any decision he may make. It’s all good…! Breezy

That a boy Bono!! We are all cheering for ya. Since I don’t get to do a thru-hike for a while, you are the one I am tracking the most this year. YOu have been an inspiration to most of us. So keep it up and keep on going. God Bless ya pal.

Bono, hang in there!! I have been reading your journal since the beginning and it has given me great information. My daughter just left this past monday for her thru hike and she has been looking for your name in the log books. I wish the best for you and your journey!!!

Guess many of us can expect to have days like that. The fact that you hit such a low and yet carried on will be an inspiration for me. Thanks for being honest about your experience. It’s good for us not to get lulled into a false sense of security or think we’re the only one with real sinkers. You’re in our prayers!
