Long live Idaho & the 4th long trail then! Sorry for my comment about the radicals of Idaho.... it's here in Texas where there's no long trails & due to Spanish Land Grant laws: 97% of the land is surrounded by barbed wire & rednecks with shotguns ready to blow you away if you step off public land or public water, even if by accident or emergency!!! Our beautiful hill country is covered with yuppie-SUV ranchettes & 90% or more of the dirt roads depicted on the maps have been paved over; so I even feel sorry for the horseback riders & mountain bikers who are restricted to a few state parks with entry fees! Ridiculous land laws are why so many of our rivers in the west never even reach the sea; all hail gluttony & waste!!!
