Planning a southbound thru hike on the PCT starting June 15th and was wondering what kind (brand and model) past thru’s have used and where to find good deals on axes. I have been looking at several black diamond axes - raven and raven pro. The lighter the better obviously, but is it worth the money? Any advice is welcome.
