I’m planning a JMT trip this summer with my boys and am wondering about the availablity of White Gas at Red’s Meadow and Muir Trail Ranch. Can you purchase it there or do I have to mail it to myself with a food drop?

I can’t say for sure at MTR but Red’s had white gas last year. Red’s seemed to have everything needed but was very expensive. If you are resupplying there you may want to take a day to go into Mammoth on the shuttle to resupply.
