Whitney Portal Mail Drop?

Does the Whitney Portal accept mail drops? I thought I read something a while ago about this, but I can’t find any information on it now. I was hoping to mail myself some clean clothes and some other stuff that would be nice to have after my hike.

to send it to General D, Lone Pine, which is right there. basically.

Lion King, thanks, but I will probably be finishing on Saturday and the Lone Pine PO is closed on Saturday and Sunday and the Bishop PO is only open until 1 PM.

They do accept package drops but you should send via UPS with the address WPS, 13 miles west of lone pine.

There’s a post on the WPS message boards if you want more detail.

I just picked mine up a few days ago from there. You must send UPS.
