Not sure what type of therapy you are referring to, but in my countless hours surfing the web, I came across the following camp which says it is “most recognized for [its] highly successful therapeutic wilderness education system”.
Its a coed camp for kids 10-17.

If this isn’t what you are after, they might have more ideas how you could find it since they are “in the biz”.

That’s Eckered Youth Alternatives–yes, that is what I am looking for information on–that is one that I have already viewed, though
Thanks, BeBop

No–not like Jails to Trails. I think that’s more of a bootcamp wilderness program. I’m referring to wilderness therapy for people of all ages who are struggling through life situations–more along the lines of minor developmental issues (depression, family issues, etc.) Something I’m considering implementing into a counseling practice someday.

That was my other idea, sorry. I’ve heard of it but not often. We often have these exact experiences/needs on the trail even as regular folks…without crisis. I had the need for some “counseling” a few times my self. Funny how the AT brings that out in people. From a hiker’s view, what you wanna do is a cool idea. Taking people outdoors and doing a little nature shock therapy is right on. Fresh air, stars, nothing to distract them like at home. A great time to work on what the problem are. Sort of like what Outward Bound does. Good luck.
