I’m traveling to do some backpacking soon. I was reading about some sections of the CO trail that are accessible. Does anyone from the area have information on the conditions around Kenosha Pass?

Closest region to Kenosha Pass. I can’t paist the link but this is from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (google it)- “Avalanche danger in the Vail-Summit zone is MODERATE (Level 2) on all aspects at all elevations.”

You could probably safely hike eastbound from Kenosha as far as Rock Creek or so, but there are some big slide zones headed west towards Georgia Pass. Either way will require snowshoes at the present time.
