bono–last one i saw said milder temps and greater precipitation than usual for the southeast—due to la nina again…for what it is worth. just before you leave check out the farm weather report. they give the weather for different sections of the country, sometimes giving weekly forecasts up to a month out. btw, good luck on your trip. jt

When we hit town we used this site www.intellicast.com, USA radar loop, to get an idea of the weeks weather or the tv weather channel. Do I stay in town one more day and sleep or mush it? Bounce the tent or not. Wade through four feet of snow in the Smokes or stay at the AYCE burger bar in Fontana. We snowed it. Other than that, you get weather.
