WM Alpinlite - Appalachian Trail

I plan on upgrading my sleeping bag to a WM Alpinlite for next year. I am 6 feet tall. Question. Will their 6 ft. bag be long enough or should I go with the 6’6" bag? I am a warm sleeper but don’t want to have to warm up more bag then I need. The ideal thing would be to try one on but I live 180 miles from the closest dealer that carries this bag. Anyone advise from someone out there, my size, that has this bag would be appreciated.

great bag it is really lite and really warm. It is big to which is nice. I got the reular and it fits me fine. I am 5 feet 10 inch. Great bag i did not want the UltraLite because it was to small, grith i mean.

I had the same question–I am also six feet on the nose and after getting in both a regular and a long–it has to be the long----in the regular my feet definitly hit the end of the bag-----now with a Marmot Helium the regular is just fine

Thanks loper. I knew there had to be someone out there that first hand info.

I’m about 6’1" and am about to purchase my second 6’6" WB bag. For me it feels perfect, so I can’t imagine how a person an inch shorter than me would be comfortable in a 6’ bag.

I said “WB bag” and meant WM. I have the HighLite now and am going to get the Versalite Super as soon as the shop gets my size in.

Anyone else used a vesalite? It looks warm for it weight.
