Women's Driclime Windshirt sizes

I wanted to buy a Marmot DriClime windshirt (original), but I don’t know what size I should get. I am 5’6", ~125lbs. If I look at the Marmot website’s sizing chart, I should get a size small, but I find I often have to get mediums because my shoulders are wider and arms longer than many smalls.

Can anyone who has one of these give me some advice?

Thanks.

My wife and I have those they tend to fit per size with some room… I believe medium is your size. That’s what my 5’6" wife has.

I’d also recommend the medium from your description.

Like BW, my wife is 5’5", and little heavier. She loves the medium size, mainly because it fits her hips, (and fits the rest of her well).

I’d recommend medium too. I am 5’9", 145lb, and I got the large size. I tried on the medium, but the arms rode up and were too short. The woman in the store told me “Marmot is notorious for having short arms in their products”. The cut is fairly slim fitting, so if you get the medium you’ll have more room underneath for other layers.

I have an XS and that is typically my true size, it’s not a generous cut, but works perfect over a few layers. I wear it EVERYwhere in the outdoors for all applications…thank Yogi for finally convincing me through her praise for this garment. I would agree that the arms aren’t terribly long, which for me is great, my Marmot ski jacket I’ve had for years is a S and it’s way too big for me, but they didn’t make XS then.

Thanks for the replies. So M it is. I just ordered one from Campmor (on sale for $60). Can’t wait to try one of these for myself after all the great reviews.
