I am writing to say “thank you” to Yogi for her PCT manual. I used it every day on my 2006 PCT hike and again this year in 2007. Unless one is a best-selling author, the financial rewards are minimal. The hard work that Yogi puts into her manual to provide us with current trail and trail town information is invaluable. Also…this year I was fortunate to be following Yogi as she hiked northward. I also had the pleasure of meeting her. Yogi took the time to pen the proper directions on signs and sometimes she would even turn a sign around so that those of us behind her would not get lost. Thank you, Yogi, for all you do. I will be out there again in 2008 and will be sure to purchase your updated manual.

The sign penning was very helpful, I wondered who did that. Thanks yogurt. Someone between her, you and I however was changing every one with a sharpie. Some just turned PCT into weird symbols, which accomplished the same purpose, but sometimes more arrows were added, or PCT was included into longer words to fake places which added some humor and confusion. For Example"im(pot)tence valley" or lots of RQI’s my favorite which made me stop often was the changing of the c to an O. Got to love it. THanks for the signage on the signs Yo’gers. Oh yeah thanks for telling Hydro and I to go into Julian when you caught us at Scissors crossing. Great place and well worth it. Oh ladybug theres a styrofoam cooler in the middle of nowhere in Southern wa with your name on it :lol missed the beer I guess
